Book Review: The Academy by Elin Hilderbrand and Shelby Cunningham

As someone who has always been fascinated by novels set on the well-manicured grounds of elite boarding schools—whether they be Hogwarts or Easton Academy—I was delighted when renowned author Elin Hilderbrand announced her latest project. Elin brings her distinct style to a new genre and as someone well-read in this particular niche category, I must acknowledge a job well done.

May was a month filled with more good reads ranging from self-improvement to thrillers, beachfront dramas, and contemporary literature. I’m finding myself drawn more to intense and thought-provoking works and June will incorporate a few more historical fiction pieces that fit within this category. For now, peruse the page-turners that made May’s top five list.

April just might be my favorite reading month so far this year.
