Set an Easter Table Brimming with Charm

Bunnies | Baskets | Bows | Blues

Easter serves as our yearly reminder of what is to come, our hope in an eternity that awaits and the welcoming warmth of spring after a long and dreary winter. I hope you enjoy the charm and sentiments this Easter setting provides and that inspires a future tablescape you create!

The Inspo

Blue and white is always classic and I’m not one to pass up on incorporating a few green moments. After all, green is the color of the season. Jesus gave us the ultimate gift when he sacrificed his life for us. Bows are synonymous with giving hence their inclusion and Lily of the Valley is often associated with Mary the mother of Jesus. Their delicate blooms are said to be her tears and it has been said that they grew from those tears at the foot of the cross. Whether or not that’s true, I appreciate the symbolism. Bunnies are an Easter must and one of my favorite animals and when I came across a darling wicker bunny, I knew it had to be included since woven elements provide a nod back to my Easter basket days.

The Setting

Atop a sprightly linen featuring brilliant blue tulips, a woven place mat pairs with rattan flatware signaling the sweet arrival of spring. Haviland’s Ranson dinner plate imparts subtle sophistication with its gilded trim. Petite blue bows encircle the salad plate’s boarder for a decidedly dainty aesthetic, enhanced by darling candle holders. Cerulean linen napkins embroidered with a miniature bouquet of lily of the valley complement the setting’s cool palette. The holiday’s beloved bunny mascot makes an appearance in wicker, brass, and paper form. Hand-painted eggs, spotted glassware, and a small vase filled with white tulips serve as a final flourish.
